My Journey (Videos)

In September 2006, as part of the BBC’s Black History Month, BBC South Today followed my journey from Christchurch, Dorset to my ancestral home in Charleston, South Carolina. I went back to both Magnolia Gardens and Drayton Hall. I was also privileged to meet someone who worked with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and has been an inspiration to all those who stand up for justice and human rights. She is still a campaigner in her 90s.
